Forest Oaks Country Club is PGA TOUR Tournament Tested and Family Friendly.
Call the golf pro shop if you would like to play in the 10th Annual Charlie Allred 4–Ball Tournament! The dates are May 19th & 20th entry fee is $240 for two members or $265 for a member and a guest. The tee times will be in the morning both days starting at 8:30 off of holes one and ten. As many of you know, Charlie passed away last September. He worked hard for many years on all of the tournaments and was a dedicated supporter of Forest Oaks. Please come out and support the great championship that he created here at Forest Oaks!
Forest Oaks Country Club received special recognition recently for having a sanitation grade of 100, and being nominated for the News & Record's "Top Placed to Work"!

When PGA TOUR star, Davis Love III, was commissioned to rework Forest Oaks Country Club, he jumped at the chance. His redesign is a stunning success, and it has also earned the praise from his peers on the PGA TOUR as well as the club's membership and guests.
Forest Oaks Country Club is a close 7 miles to downtown Greensboro, one of America's most livable cities. It offers its members and guests all the amenities of a private club with a championship feel. From 1977 - 2007, Forest Oaks hosted the PGA TOUR event, (which is now known as) the Wyndham Championship. Built in the early 1960’s by noted golf course architect, Ellis Maples, a protégé of the legendary Donald Ross, Forest Oaks is an immaculately manicured celebration of all that is best about golf.
With five sets of tees ranging from just over 5,000 yards to well over 7,000, Forest Oaks offers a highly playable yet challenging game for golfers of all ability levels — from juniors and seniors to touring pros. For those who want to hone their games, Forest Oaks has one of North Carolina's finest practice facilities, with a manicured, natural-grass practice tee, chipping area, practice bunker, and arguably the largest practice putting greens in the state.
A Full Range of Activities for Family and Corporate Members. Adding to the joys of membership at Forest Oaks are busy tournament and social calendars for men, women, juniors and couples, plus outstanding clubhouse facilities and amenities, an eight-court tennis complex and active tennis program, plus a six-lane 25 yard pool with separate areas for both diving and shallow water play.
A Beautiful Setting for Weddings, Business Meetings and Special Events. The 27,000 square-foot contemporary-styled clubhouse offers ballroom dining facilities for up to 350 guests, with more intimate spaces available for smaller group meetings, whether for business or pleasure. Our experienced staff know how to make our guests-and our members' guests-feel right at home, whether it's a small dinner with friends or a luncheon for your sales staff.
